It should also be paired with our aeration service in the fall, which we offer from September to November, to prepare the soil before the grass seeds are scattered across your turf. Aerating your lawn first addresses soil compaction and ensures nutrients and other essential resources can reach the roots. The process also creates hundreds of holes in your lawn where the grass seeds can fall to get ideal contact with the soil and absorb the nutrients they need to germinate.

Our team will spread a starter fertilizer treatment as we overseed your lawn. This starter fertilizer application contains the right set of nutrients tailored to the needs of the grass seeds, boosting their germination and supporting their early development. Applying this treatment at the same time as overseeding ensures the grass seeds have everything they need to grow into grass that will fill in the bare patches on your turf!
