January 1st to February 15th: Our first visit involves a lawn fertilizer application for a round of nourishment while your grass prepares to emerge from dormancy. A post-emergent broadleaf weed control treatment is also administered.
February 15th to March 31st: We'll apply another lawn fertilizer treatment, plus pre- and post-emergent weed control treatments.
April 1st to May 15th: Your lawn will receive fertilizer and a dose of micronutrients to support its active growth. Weeds will be controlled through another round of pre- and post-emergent treatments.
May 15th to June 31st:As preparation for summer, your lawn will be treated with fertilizer and a nutrient uptake inhibitor for efficient and maximum absorption of the nutrients. It will also receive a post-emergent broadleaf weed control and sedge control treatment as needed.
July 1st to August 31st: This visit includes micronutrients, soil penetrant, and post-emergent treatments to keep it healthy and weed-free during the stressful summer.
September 1st to November 15th: After the peak of the summer season, our next visit is for another fertilizer treatment to help with your lawn's recovery from the stressful heat. If you're a part of our full-service maintenance program, you'll also receive aeration and overseeding at this time. If not, these services are available as an add-on.
November 15th to December 31st: Before your lawn becomes dormant, we'll give it a winter fertilizer treatment to ensure it survives the chilly winter conditions.Warm-season lawns like bermudagrass and zoysia also thrive in the Cary, NC, area. When you work with us, you can be confident that we are following a lawn fertilization treatment schedule that is tailored to your warm-season lawn’s needs! February 15th to March 31st: This step involves a pre- and post-emergent weed control treatment to keep weeds off your lawn and prevent them from competing with it for resources.
April 1st to May 15th: Your lawn will receive its first round of fertilizer during this time. It will also be treated with pre- and post-emergent weed control to ensure no weeds will take the nutrients away from your grass.
May 15th to June 31st: From late spring to early summer, your lawn will receive a fertilizer treatment to help it thrive during the hot and dry weather, along with post-emergent weed control and a dose of micronutrients.
July 1st to August 31st: Another fertilizer, dose of micronutrients, and post-emergent weed control are applied to aid in your lawn's survival during the summer.
September 1st to November 15th: As the weather starts to cool down, we will give your lawn pre- and post-emergent weed control treatments to prevent and eliminate weeds.
